ChargeAll’s Stay Connected charity program is dedicated to empowering the less fortunate with the ability to re-connect with their family and friends. The cell phone is a powerful tool that allow individuals to communicate practically anytime and anywhere. Unfortunately, economic limitations may limit a person from utilizing this technology. Our program is devoted to serving those in need by providing free cell phone chargers and donated cell phones.
Stay Connected was inspired by an article describing a homeless man that struggles to keep his phone charged in order to find work: Daily Pilot – In Search of Power (Outlets).
Stay Connected offers a donation and also cell phone recycling program. The average cell phone user upgrades their device every three years. These cell phones can then be donated to less fortunate individuals to help them access the internet, find work, answer e-mails, and most importantly, contact their family and friends. Cell phones also contain toxic metals that can pollute the environment and threaten human health. When recycled responsibly, the metals can be put back into circulation, decreasing the need for new metal mining.
Help us make a difference by setting up a responsible cell phone recycling program in your community or workplace. It’s free, easy and helps keep harmful metals and chemicals out of the waste stream and ultimately out of landfills. We will be collecting old cell-phones and recycling them or giving them to those who are in need of them. Have a box full of corporate cell phones just laying around? Just contact our Stay Connected team and we’ll do the pickup free of charge.
